BASHH Annual Conference 2025

Susan Cole presented at this year’s BASHH Conference in Edinburgh in the session focused on the UKHSA HIV Report and the limitations of healthcare provision to underserved communities. Her presentation focused on community insights on the drivers of the inequities faced in HIV, and actions needed now to bring about meaningful change.

The session included the presentations Journey to zero HIV transmission and tackling inequalities by Tamara Djuretic followed by HIV and Women: How do we address the inequity? by Elizabeth Okecha with Treatment as prevention – improving health equity by supporting engagement in care by Rageshri Dhairyawan. After which there was a panel discussion with the presenters and audience on the issues raised.
