
Black Women’s Health Manifesto Collective
On Friday 16th May 2025, the Black Women’s Health Manifesto Collective met in London.
Co – chaired by Professor Jenny Douglas and Dr Vanessa Apea, key leaders and strategic drivers of the Collective, the meeting brought together healthcare professionals, activists, community leaders and researchers united in their mission to tackle the entrenched health inequities Black women continue to face. Susan Cole also contributed at the meeting.
The current Black Women’s Health Manifesto outlines 8 progressive policy and action recommendations to help the government to advance inter-generational Black women’s health.
