Susan Cole attended the BHIVA Spring Conference 2025. There were many great presentations some are mentioned below.
Badru Male from PositiveEast presented on his co-production with faith leaders. He talked about their development of faith-based assets to improve HIV awareness, reduce stigma and improve testing.
James Cole from NAT presented on why HIV voluntary & community services need to be safeguarded and the significant challenges faced by the HIV voluntary sector.
Harun Tulunay from Positively UK highlighted data about gaps in HIV knowledge within the NHS workforce and how HIV Confident can address it.
HIV Confident is a charter mark for organisations and businesses that helps ensure people living with HIV can work for them and access any services they provide with confidence. Videos that are part of the HIV confident e-learning course were produced with Susan
The BHIVA Martin Fisher Award for best presentation in the field of community-based work went to James Cole.
